How to Set Up Whitelist for Palworld

Want to keep your Palworld server private or restrict access to a select group of players? Enabling a whitelist ensures only approved Steam users can join your server. This guide will walk you through setting up a whitelist for your Palworld server hosted on BananaServers using the Peel Panel.

Step 1: Log into Peel Panel

  1. Go to https://peel.bananaservers.ca

  2. Log in with your BananaServers account credentials.

  3. From the dashboard, click on your Palworld server to open its management page.

Step 2: Enable Whitelist in Game Settings

  1. Click on the Files tab in the left sidebar.

  2. Navigate to:

    /Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini
  3. Locate the [ServerSettings] section in the file.

  4. Add or modify the following line to enable whitelist:

    bEnableWhitelist=True
  5. Save the file after editing.

???? Tip: If the file doesn’t exist yet, start your server once and it will be generated automatically.

Step 3: Add Players to the Whitelist

  1. In the same folder (/Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/), open or create the file:

    Whitelist.txt
  2. Add the Steam64 IDs of the players you want to allow access, one per line. Example:

    76561198012345678
    76561198087654321

???? You can find a player's Steam64 ID using websites like steamid.io.

  1. Save the file.

Step 4: Restart Your Server

  1. Go to the Console tab and click Restart or use the top-right power button.

  2. Wait for the server to fully restart and apply the whitelist settings.
