How to Allocate More RAM Using CurseForge

Allocating more RAM to your Minecraft modpacks can significantly improve performance and stability. This article will guide you through the process of increasing RAM allocation using CurseForge and managing your server via our Peel Panel.

Step 1: Open CurseForge

First, you need to open the CurseForge application on your computer. Ensure that you are logged in with the correct account to access your Minecraft modpacks.

Step 2: Access Settings

Click on the gear icon in the bottom left corner of the CurseForge application to access the settings menu.

Step 3: Navigate to Minecraft Settings

In the settings menu, select the "Minecraft" tab on the left side. This section will allow you to adjust various settings related to your Minecraft modpacks.

Step 4: Adjust Memory Settings

Scroll down until you find the "Java Settings" section. Here, you will see an option for "Allocated Memory." Adjust the slider to allocate the desired amount of RAM. Make sure to leave some RAM for your system, especially if you plan on using other programs while playing Minecraft. A common allocation for heavily modded games is between 4GB to 8GB.

Step 5: Save Settings
